A new study finds that buying foam insulation can put you at risk for contracting a deadly virus, especially if you’re an elderly person or someone who works in an office or hospital.
The study looked at the data from a sample of people who had purchased insulation from companies such as BlueShield of California, Suntech and United Technologies.
The results were startling.
People who had bought insulation from BlueShield were more than twice as likely to contract the coronavirus as those who had not.
In the study, published in the journal Science, researchers found that those who bought insulation at least once in the previous year were more likely to get sick.
Those who had had to work outdoors were more at risk.
That suggests that people should be more careful when buying insulation, the researchers said.
“People should be concerned about these types of exposures,” said study author Eric J. Kohn, a senior research scientist at the University of California San Francisco.
He called BlueShield’s insulation a “very good option” but said it was “a bad option” for older people.
“The people who are most at risk, when they buy this insulation, they’re the most vulnerable to the virus,” he said.
The research is the latest in a series of studies showing that the older you get, the more likely you are to contract a cold.
Some experts have also said that older people and those who work in offices and hospitals are at greater risk.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all older people wear masks and wear long sleeves when they’re outdoors, and that they should avoid working in hot or humid environments.
BlueShield, for its part, says that it does not advise people to buy insulation that has been tested on people who have not had a coronavision.
The company’s president, John J. Miller, said in a statement that the company is reviewing the results of the study.
“We do not recommend purchasing insulation for use in the workplace as long as it is not used as a surface cover, or as an outer layer,” he wrote.
“In fact, we do recommend that we recommend purchasing a layer of insulation instead, such as an aluminum layer, that is manufactured with more advanced manufacturing processes and is more resistant to moisture and moisture intrusion.”
